General Conditions

Cancellation conditions individual room reservations:
In case of cancellations up to 24 hours prior to the date of arrival (3 PM) no costs are charged. If you cancel within these 24 hours, 100% of the accommodation price is charged.

Cancellation conditions group and conference room reservations:
You can cancel free of charged up to 2 weeks prior to the date of the activity. After this date, we have no other option than to charge 60% cancellation costs. In case of cancellation within 24 hours prior to the activity date or in case of a no-show, we charge 100% cancellation costs.

Change in group size
Changes of the number of people mentioned in the program confirmation are accepted up to 24 hours prior to the meeting. Hotel Van der Valk Arnhem uses the most recent specified number of people, if she doesn't hear anything from the principal.

More than 1 month prior to the effective date you can cancel free of charge
More than 14 days prior to the effective date: 15% of the booking value
More than 7 days prior to the effective date: 35% of the booking value
More than 3 days prior to the effective date: 60% of the booking value
More than 24 hours prior to the effective date: 85% of the booking value
Less than 24 hours prior to the effective date: 100% of the booking value

Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem is a smoke free hotel. It is not permitted to smoke at the hotel rooms or in public areas such as the lobby, restaurant and bar. If our guests don't comply with these rules, we have no other option than to charge costs.

Of course smoking is permitted on the terrace. In addition, we have placed ashtrays near the main entrance.

Pets are more than welcome at Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem (if leashed), in the public areas. In the rooms, only dogs are allowed (supplement € 15.00 per dog per night). In addition, we permit a maximum of 2 dogs per room. It is not permitted to leave the dog alone in the room.

Around the hotel you'll find beautiful hiking trailes where you can welk your dog.

Objects that are found in the public areas of the hotel or in the rooms or handed to our front desk, are treated as described in the Uniform Hospitality Conditions:

16.1 - In the building and its appurtenances, objects that are lost or left behind and subsequently found by the guest, should be given to the hospitality company in due time.
16.2 - The hospitality company will be come the owner of objects of which the beneficiairy has not contacted the hospitality company within one year after it was found and returned.
16.3 - If the hospitality company sends items, left behind by the guest, to the guest, this shall occur at the expense and risk of the guest. The hospitality company shall never be required to send these items..

To all agreements entered into by us, the Uniform Conditions of the Hospitality Industry (Uniforme Voorwaarden Horeca, UVH) shall apply.
